In this section we keep record of our work, beginning on September 11th., 2000. Claudio and Horacio are in charge of this task, alternating comments from Argentina and Spain.


March-June 2005

March and April were marked by the completion of our fourth CD: Porteño. Final mixes and mastering, running order, artwork, budgets, and lots of details to take care of. Finally, on May 10 Claudio had in his hand the CD in Buenos Aires and his comments were very good. Four days later we had some copies in Madrid and we had a toast at-a-distance to celebrate two years of work.

The CD is very good! Beginning with the artwork, an excellent collaboration between graphic designer Pablo Mandel in Vancouver and painter Monica Peralta in Buenos Aires. Pablo took lots of pictures of Buenos Aires and sent them to Moni who painted on top. The sound of the CD is excellent also, a challenging work by Claudio and Sebastian who had to deal with different type of studio takes, from different years and audio conditions.

Bigtime met on May 22 in Los Molinos, Spain, for another Guitar Craft course. This was the place and time to prepare for a series of concerts in Spain, more documented in the Shows section of the website.

January-February 2005

More work on the Porteño CD... The cover is almost ready and the mixes are also in an advanced stage. We had some extra time since our trip to the US in March was cancelled.

In Madrid we met at Martín's place to rehearse our repertoire and also kept msn trio chats every Monday evening to update about the group's projects.

The next meeting was scheduled for the end of May in Spain. The CGT visited Madrid and we met David Calvano (their tour promoter), so we are planning to do some concerts in early June.
